Ripco Credit Union of Rhinelander, Wisconsin has been serving members for more than 82 years. Its type of membership is a state-chartered natural person credit union where membership is open to anyone who lives, works or owns real estate in Oneida, Forest, Vilas, Langlade, Lincoln, Florence or Price County.
Checking services include no cost share drafts, share certificates with low minimum balance requirements, bill pay services, overdraft protection and overdraft lines of credit. Debit cards, ATMs with no surcharges and prepaid debit cards are available.
For members needing to establish credit, the credit union offers a credit builder program, share-secured credit cards and small dollar loans. Financial counseling is among the capabilities they offer.
In addition to vehicle and personal loans and other types of credit, Ripco CU can do real estate loans. Convenience services include check cashing, international remittances, low-cost wire transfers and money orders. The "virtual branch office" can be accessed via web banking, bank by phone and smartphone. Electronically from anywhere, you can apply for a loan, inquire into your account, order checks, open a new share account, loan payments, check previous transactions, make share account transfers, bill payer service, download your account history and view electronic statements.
